Copyright © Liane Bate http://www.HonestMoneyMaking.comWell today was not a good day for me in the NHL Playoffs since I am not only a die-hard Plug-in Profit Site owner, but a die-hard Flames fan hoping they will make it to round 2 of the playoffs! :( I know, I should have been hard at work on my Plug-in Profit Site while I had the spare time, but sometimes you just need to take a step back from business and have some fun! Okay, losing is not so fun, but enjoying my couch rather than my business chair sure was a welcome relief! I've also been having some troubles forgetting to delete my cache after surfing for traffic credits daily. This means when I try to post a new blog for my Plug-in Profit Site, I can't do it, and have to reboot after clearing my cache, and wow is my computer ever slow these days! On a happier note, I added some fresh new and hot Clickbank items to my Plug-in Profit Site's home page, although I'm not quite sure what some fellow Plug-in Profit Site owners are talking about on the Clickbank post in the Warrior Forum lately. Maybe one day I'll get hip with that too! If there's one certainty in this business, it's that the learning curve never stops! I am also in the process of looking into building my own Plug-in Profit Site Squidoo lens to get hip with the latest internet marketing and social bookmarking trends! I've noticed that whoever started the Plug-in Profit Site Headquarters on Squidoo does not really have the Plug-in Profit Site's name written up correctly in Google's or Squidoo's listings, so when I did a lens search for "Plug-in Profit Site", nothing came up! Is there method to someone's madness that I am unaware of? I'll probably have to let someone know about that! I am in a good Plug-in Profit Site business routine lately, although I don't seem to have time for all the things I need to be doing, so those things have to wait until the weekends when I actually have more time to work on them. I've been getting behind in linking and forum posting lately. I'm also keen on watching Peter Hale's SEO Videos again as he promises 500 unique visitors per day to your Plug-in Profit Site, and I am just not reaching those numbers, although I'm not far away from that point. I have some SEO work to do, and also think I would see great results if I just wrote one or two more original articles per week, but time....if only I had time! It's not that I'm slacking, just taking necessary breaks for my own sanity, so I also got out for my daily dosage of fresh air, sunshine, and vitamin D today. Although I hear on the Plug-in Profit Site Support Forum that everywhere else in the world seems to be a lot sunnier and warmer than the snowy weather we've had around these parts lately! Oh well, at least the snow makes for good Hockey Night in Canada watching! While I didn't meet my traffic goal of 500 unique visitors per day, my income went up this month! :) I have continued to write one quality, original article per month, as well as posting new content to my blog daily. I don't think 1 article per month is enough to generate the kind of traffic I want, as that seems to be the best way to get traffic. Although a bit short on posting in forums other than the Plug-in Profit Site Support Forum, I have done that consistently, and tried to gather as many new links as possible, although that has been slow too. I added a new webmaster note to my site, am using Technorati tags in my blog and article posts, and have tried some new free classifieds. My articles and blog post focus on my main keywords, but I need to choose more and think about making more links on my main page. I'd also like to offer more freebies, and write a short report and ebook that I can sell and/or give away. I'm looking more into social bookmarking and have been using Digg, Furl, Yahoo, and Delicious for my quality posts. I will be looking more into MySpace and Squidoo. I'm not sure if I'm happy with OtoGoldmine as an exit popup for my site, and may get rid of it, or move it to a different place. I also tried Ewen Chia's Autopilot Profits System and wrote a review. GetResponse Powerleads seem to be working for me as my subscribers have jumped up quite a bit this month. I tried a free advertising promo to get my SFI Affiliates to upgrade to EA status, and there were no takers. Will have to work on this one obviously!
