Good thing I didn't attempt to submit that to the article directories, because that would have been a big no-no and would have never been accepted! I am trying, but having a very difficult time with writing an article on the Plug-in Profit Site program that is NOT self-promotional. How do you do that anyways? I own a Plug-in Profit Site membership and website, I promote it - what else am I going to promote? And here I am feeling guilty for no reason for promoting my own Plug-in Profit Site! It's just that the article directories and forums will not accept articles and posts that are self-promotional in nature. Seems odd, feels odd that I should feel guilty for that, but really, our bottom lines should not be self-promotion. We produce articles and forum posts not for ourselves...not directly anyway. We need to make valuable contributions, build relationships with prospects and customers, and help others. That is the real point of article writing and forum posting. This is what gives us a name for ourselves. Forget "It's all about me!" in this business...Remember that a good business will care more about its people than about itself. That, in turn, is how our businesses will grow. I ask the question again: If I can't promote my own product or service, then what should/can I promote? While asking myself this question at work today, the answer that popped into my head was: "Promote others!" Now is that brilliant or what? Okay, not my own invention, but it has me an exciting idea brewing in my head about an interesting experiment I might be about to launch! I was going to write a new article tonight, but I have a very important matter to attend to: Cooking a lasagne before my ingredients go bad in the fridge. And seeing as though I am not a very frequent cooker-woman, this could take me all night! I don't want to be getting salmonella poisoning now, right at a crucial moment in my online business career when I'm about to maybe launch this new experiment...No Liane, no business, and no experiment!
